Good afternoon, everyone. It's Dr. Niagara again. Our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

One of my colleagues had emailed me the other day or texting me if I knew somebody in a different state

because her patient was being,

was moving out of Massachusetts.

And I thought, you know, what a good idea to use this platform

to kind of maybe build a more collective

and global community.

So if you are a provider outside of the United States

and wanna give my contact information,

be happy to kind of compile a list so if people reach out to me,

I can at least give them a name or contact information throughout the globe.

So if we maybe, you know, the more people we can reach and help,

that could be a pretty cool thing.

So as you know, I kind of go back and forth between clinical and philosophical and, you know, an ad mixture of the two.

But today I wanted to focus on a topic that I think is, but shouldn't be controversial, is personality disorders in children and adolescents.

And it specifically states in the DSM-5, TR, on page 735, that personality disorders can be

diagnosed in children and adolescents.

And as a neuropsychologist my primary function is to do diagnostics not just looking at the cognitive issues such as the memory systems the

different attentional systems executive functions functions, processing speed, motor skills, reaction time,

intelligence, adaptive functioning.

But also the social, emotional, and personality functioning, where you're going to get
