1:01.4	Yes, today on the show we are talking about the labor shortage in the restaurant
1:07.0	industry.
1:08.0	It is a really big national story now that restaurants are opening back up and some cities are opening back up 100%.
1:15.2	They can open at 100% capacity and unemployment is really high but a lot of
1:20.8	restaurant workers are not returning to the workforce.
1:26.1	There are many factors at play.
1:27.8	A lot of people are blaming unemployment insurance because it is higher, but I think it is much more complicated than that.
1:34.8	Actually a lot of restaurant workers just don't want to go back to work because they don't
1:38.0	feel safe yet. A lot of people are leaving the industry for good because of the instability and the rocky year they've had.
