Yes, today on the show we are talking about the labor shortage in the restaurant

industry.

It is a really big national story now that restaurants are opening back up and some cities are opening back up 100%.

They can open at 100% capacity and unemployment is really high but a lot of

restaurant workers are not returning to the workforce.

There are many factors at play.

A lot of people are blaming unemployment insurance because it is higher, but I think it is much more complicated than that.

Actually a lot of restaurant workers just don't want to go back to work because they don't

feel safe yet. A lot of people are leaving the industry for good because of the instability and the rocky year they've had.
