0:03.7	Protecting Earth is not an easy job, even for a group as experienced and capable as the

0:13.9	Sometimes, as we've seen, they fail in this duty, and things on Earth slip towards a slow
0:20.1	or rather sudden apocalypse.
0:24.1	Most of the time, when this happens, the foundation either manages to fix everything and bring
0:28.6	it back to the way it was, or simply throws their hands up in the air and accepts their failure.
0:35.4	In the Ad Astra Peraspora canon, however, a Latin phrase meaning, to the stars
0:41.1	through hardships, the foundation decides to make the best of a bad situation by abandoning
0:47.8	Earth entirely, taking humanity out into the cosmos. Here they'll encounter whole new sets of problems,
0:56.5	trying to protect humanity on not just one planet, but many.

1:34.2	exploration continued, the need to research extraterrestrial anomalies grew as well.
1:41.2	Beginning with some joint space agency ventures, the foundation slowly established a network
1:47.0	to monitor the solar system, all the while exploiting paratech and other anomalies to establish
1:54.0	a physical presence beyond Earth. By the 2000s, orbital task forces, containment stations, lunar areas, and outposts on other planets
2:05.6	form and expand.
