Fratricide, an a money-rom story.

Part 1

I've said this before, and it's certainly a point that's going to continue to be repeated as time goes on,

but the SCP universe has expanded quite a lot over the years from its humble beginnings of creepy monsters.

Whether that's a good thing is, of of course going to be a matter of personal opinion,

but when a universe continues to be fleshed out, there's obviously going to be all manner

of stories told.

While the Church of the Broken God started out as a creepy cult that worshipped machines, we now have various

expansive takes on their history and mythos.

The history of Amunni Rahm, the Mechanite's greatest city, is one paved largely in blood,

and while one of the SCP-001 proposals took a look at the city mostly in the modern

day, there's still a lot of history left to be uncovered.

The story we're going to be looking at today takes place many years in the past, when

Ammni Rahm was still in its prime.

While there are anomalous elements to the story, of course, it's a tale grounded enough in real-world concepts and emotions.

I'll be reading most of this tale verbatim, but I will be paraphrasing certain elements, mostly dialogue,

so of course I recommend reading the full story yourself to get the complete experience.

Chapter 1
