Yeah. Speaking of Johns, we have a case from Karen in Leffetown, Pennsylvania. My husband, Julian, uses the word John, even though he is from Queens, New York. We've both lived in the Philly suburbs for about 20 years, but have never lived in the city proper. I believe that saying John, when you're not from Philly, is like using a fake Philly accent. Please make him stop.
