Most of the criticisms that you hear about weight loss programs is the yo-yo type response.

Fasting when it's done properly is unique in that regard.

The body composition does change and it changes very specifically.

In fact, we've done a study that looks at body composition changes before and after fasting and

on follow-up and shows what actually happens and essentially what happens when

you fast is you lose a bunch of weight some of that weight is water and fiber

glycogen protein and fat and then when you come off the fast you regain weight
