Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you are out there in the world.

I hope you're healthy, I hope you're well, I hope your house is sound for those of you

that don't know my home burned down in the Malibu fire, it's been called the Wolsey

fire.

There's something kind of freeing and insane about losing your house, actually a lot of people

call and say, how are you doing Dell?

And I say, you know, as well as any man can be doing with two pairs of pants, four shirts

and five unmatched socks to your name.

You have to make light of moments like that because what else are you going to do?

It's totally out of your control, everything we own is gone.

I was actually somewhat happy to come into the office today to the studio and realize that

there's a few suit jackets still left here so maybe I'll be wearing these around town

a little bit more.

I don't want to make light of it for those people that are out there though.

There are still homes burning, there are so many people displaced from their homes right

now during the fire that have no idea what's going, what is the state of their home.

I have a little more closure than most because I actually went with Patrick and we snuck

in around police guards and got ourselves in to take a look at my home and I'm going

to talk about that and show you what that journey was like later on in the show.

But I tend to be a person that can compartmentalize things a little bit.

One of the things that either comes naturally but also I think my parents gave me the advice

that, you know, don't sweat the things you can't control.
