Welcome everyone, this is Dr. Mercola helping you take control of your health and today we are joined with the previous guest Dr Paul Connett who you may remember as being the founder of the fluoride action network which has been really instrumental in helping reduce the

exposure to fluoride in North America and many countries throughout the world.

So he's going to give us a latest update in our fluoride action week.

It's great, actually, to talk to you now

because I think our position, which goes back 20 years now,

when I got involved in 96,

one of my big concerns was the possibility that fluoride would be lowering children's IQ.

The first two Chinese studies have been published in 1995 and 96 in English.

There have been previous studies published in Chinese,

but these were the first to hit the English market

as it were.

And I was very concerned then and felt strongly that if there was any evidence that fluoride lowered the intelligence of children, then there's no way that you would put the teeth above that and continue this practice of water
