Summary

This Sunday, Pastor Jon Tyson continued our Fall sermon series, Formed, with a teaching on how the act of confessing Jesus is Lord and believing in His resurrection in our hearts forms the foundation of salvation for Christians. Pastor Jon unpacked the heart of the Gospel story and its profound implications for our lives today. 0:16.1	This series is called Formed. And it is a journey through the key stages of development where someone
0:22.1	goes from being dead in sin into being formed into the image of Jesus. And it's really getting back
0:28.3	to the core concepts that are often overlooked in all the conversations about spiritual formation.
0:33.9	What does election, regeneration, justification, vivification, mortification, sanctification, these big terms,
0:41.6	what do they actually mean for the spirit's work within us, helping us move out of the brokenness
0:48.3	of our sin-stained flesh and into the fullness of life that God has for us?
0:52.8	How do we make sense of our stories in light of the resurrection of Jesus and the kingdom of God?
