And on this week's episode, we're going to be covering the 2003 film, Freddy versus Jason,

directed by Ronnie You, written by Damien Shannon and Mark Swift,

and starring Monica Keena, Robert England, and Kelly Rowland.

In this film, two struggling franchises attempt to raise themselves back from the dead

by pitting their villains against one another.

everyone. If you are new to our show, you might not know this, but for the last six years or so,

or since launching this podcast back in 2018,

Brian and I have kept up this tradition of covering a Friday the 13th or Jason film every Friday the 13th. And Brian, I remember when you started this in 2018, you know, we're

starting with part one. And you had mentioned the date of like 2025s the year where

we'd finally finish the franchise.

And it's kind of crazy that like we've come 11 films in and we're one film away

and almost like done with this journey of going through this whole franchise.

Isn't that insane that we're almost there?

It's really crazy.

I think that it's especially crazy for both of us because we just didn't think that the podcast would go on for that long.
