Hi, this is just a little heads up about a brand new podcast that's launching very soon,

hosted by me, Emmer Reed Terrell, and aimed at, well, anyone who's ever had a friend.

It's called Friendship Therapy and the first episode

drops on Monday the 3rd of June. Romantic relationships quite rightly have

received a lot of our attention recently, but given that we're making friendships from such an early and formative

age and in far greater numbers, shouldn't we give them some of our attention too?

Maybe we've been told that friendships should be easy, or that they're just about simple companionships.

Maybe we believe that friends are low maintenance, and they don't require actual effort,

or that they'll just last a lifetime and they need never end.

Well, I'm a psychotherapist and an author and in friendship therapy,

I'll be putting friendships under a therapy lens

to hear from real people about real life.

What happens when a friendship changes?

When a bereavement breaks a group apart,

how jealousy affects us,

and whether we can ever end a friendship amicably.
