So is it good news? Is it bad news or is it no news?

0:14.1

I think there's more good news than bad news.

0:18.0

It's the mortgage industry in 2025, so there's always some challenge, but definitely

0:24.8

more good than bad this week anyway. All right, so we're talking with Owen Lee, and he gave

0:32.4

us an update on the breakfast club. We thought we'd do it again here for those of you on the West Coast that

0:39.1

530 is a little too early in the morning to get on breakfast club or so you think, but what you're

0:45.7

1:58.5

Republicans and Democrats alike, of all different political stripes.

2:03.6

And that's pretty, gosh- dang, impressive to get over one-third of the Senate to co-sponsor a bill in a week.

2:12.6

On the House side, we have 45 co-sponsors of the bill.

2:18.3

I would guess that we would be racking up more numbers over there.

2:24.3

2:30.3

So really strong, right out of the gate. It's basically the same bill.

2:37.6

A little bit of language change around Opt-ins, but it's basically the same bill.
