We live in a time spent economy.

Things are competing for your time.

And we obviously, you can always get more money,

but you can't get more time.

So time is the finite resource that we all share.

And there's, it's the ultimate neutral, flat leveling,

leveling playing field that we all have to operate on.

And if you have companies competing for that,

you're gonna end up with these problems.

The line in the film that I think describes it best,

that Justin Rosenstein says, who invented the like button,

is so long as a whale is worth more dead than alive

and a tree is worth more as lumber than as a tree.

And we don't regulate private forests

or protect state forests.

Now we're the whale, we're the tree.

We're the resource that is being stripped mind

into our cognition.

And that means that we're worth more

if we're addicted, distracted, outraged, narcissistic,

attention seeking, polarized, and disinformed,

then if we're a thriving citizen,
