0:06.2

of a forward thinking episode because I want to talk about the psychology, the manipulation of Disney

0:14.0

parks because, you know, I remember as a kid in my AP psych, not to brag, but yeah, my AP psych class, one of the things we were

0:25.2

learning about, you know, all these different ways to kind of manipulate people and psychologically

0:29.9

alter them was Disney Parks. And they would say that one of the things employees at Disney

0:36.5

are trained to do is they never point

0:38.9

because pointing is kind of threatening or warning or very aggressive. So instead they would do this

1:28.9

And I'm fascinated by it.

1:30.3

I think that it's so very cool.

1:32.6

I remember, too, even in that EP site class, you know, got to throw the AP in there,

1:37.7

my psych class.

1:39.0

My teacher was saying that Bill Clinton, you know, the way that he kind of shakes his fist or he puts his thumb

1:45.2

over his fingers. And I think Obama maybe would do that too. It's not pointing to the audience

1:50.4

because that's kind of aggressive. But it's this motion that kind of engages someone and you're

1:56.6

powerful without being too aggressive. And I just think all of that stuff is so very cool.
