0:29.9	funky, weird week in terms of feeling tired and flustered. Maybe it's all the political stuff or stars.
0:39.5	Who knows? But we thought it would be really nice to just bring to you all a beautiful, beautiful episode of positive good news

1:06.7	Yeah, I agree. So sit back and join us. We have some great stories about animal heroes and kids doing amazing things and some cool scientific discoveries and just humanity reaching out to their fellow friends in need. So I'm going to start us off with our first one.
1:24.6	Perfect. It's about a 13-year-old dog named Gita, who recently saved her person's life.
1:31.0	Back in September, Deputy Wright of the Stevens County Sheriff's Office was patrolling
1:35.3	when he spotted a lone dog sitting in the middle of the road. With no houses visible nearby,
1:41.8	Wright attempted to coax the dog into his car to search for its owner.
1:45.6	However, the dog refused. After checking nearby residences with no luck, Wright returned to the
1:52.1	road where the dog had now positioned herself directly on the center line. When he tried to get her
1:57.9	to move, Gita suddenly ran up to an unmarked little-used road.
2:03.4	Gita led him to a small summer cabin, and it was there not far from the cabin, that Wright discovered
2:09.6	an 84-year-old man lying on the ground calling for help. The elderly man had fallen hours earlier,
2:16.0	injured his leg, and was unable to move.
2:18.8	Thanks to Gita's quick thinking and unwavering loyalty and deputy rights persistence, the man's life was saved.
