Welcome everyone, this is Dr. Mercola helping you take control of your health and

today we're joined again with Ronnie Cummins who is the founder of the

Organic Consumers Association commonly known as OCA, and been a long time partner of ours, and he's

written a new book, Grassroots Rising, and there's a long subtitle to him explain.

But he's here to talk to us about that book

and really inspire us to action and catalyze our efforts

to some very important initiatives.

So what inspired you to write this book? Well, the last book I wrote was on genetically engineered food and farming.

And so this is along the same lines, much of the book talks about how we need to transform our food and farming system, not only in the United States, but worldwide, if we're going to solve a lot of these problems that we're seeing,

environmental pollution, the health problems, the climate crisis,

the fact that we have so much poverty in rural areas across the world, including in the United States.

And so what I talk about here is the next stage of organic food and farming which we're calling regenerative.
