0:15.2	I'm Maria Kalanchini, and I'm the author of Goop Tales.
0:19.5	So here we are at the end of 2019.
0:23.8	I'm recording this right before the New Year's,
0:27.1	wanting to get it out for the New Year's.
0:29.3	And I am very excited about this episode.
0:33.0	Not only because it's going to kick off a new year,
0:35.7	but it is also a listener-generated name that I
0:39.8	used for this, and it's a place that I just went. So this story takes place in Yosemite, which is a
0:46.8	beautiful national park in the state of California, and it's not too far from where I live. So I
0:53.2	went there in November for the first time in probably decades, in many, many years.
1:01.2	And it was just so absolutely beautiful, even more stunning than I remember it as a child.
1:07.8	And it inspired me to write this story of Bacuardia. And my inspiration also came from
1:15.3	some listeners who created the name Bacwardia. And I'm going to read you what they wrote,
1:19.8	which is so sweet. This is from Jillian, Cecilia, and Beth. They wrote, so we have an idea for a new good girl.
1:29.5	We would call her Backwardia,
1:31.4	and she has a terrible habit of driving everyone crazy
1:34.3	by being backwards all the time.
1:37.1	For instance, she counts backwards.
1:39.5	She does requests in backwards order.
1:42.3	She repeats you back, but you guessed it backwards.
1:46.2	Obviously, she will need to travel to the future to learn the outcome of her irritating
