Reuters has called it one of the more peculiar relationships in American business,

and today we're going to dive into that relationship between video game makers and gun manufacturers.

Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported on uncovered documents from over a decade ago.

The documents, which include emails and records, were part of a lawsuit filed against Remington

Arms, a gunmaker, by parents of the children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012.

And these documents offer what the journal calls a rare look at the gun industry's relationship

with video game makers. In this case, the records reveal that from the late 2000s to early

2010s, Remington Arms and the conglomerate of which it is a part, Freedom Group, pursued deals
