the veteran character actor who's best known for his vocal talents but who's also damn good when he's using his other tools as well.

For 28 of his 52 years he has done voices for characters like Mo, Apu, and Lou the cop on the Simpsons,

for which he's received seven Emmy nominations,

four of which have resulted in wins. He's also received five other Emmy nominations,

one for the Showtime series Huff on which he played a therapist who could make everyone

happy but himself, one for the TV movie version of Tuesdays with Mori in

which he starred opposite Jack Lemon and took home a statue and three for guest

acting twice in comedy series namely friends and

mad about you and this year in a drama series Ray Donovan he's appeared on that

showtime series in 14 episodes since 2014 as Ed Cochran, a one-time

FBI chief who loses whatever moral compass he once had and goes head to head with

Leif Schreiber's title character.
