All right, you guys.

It was brought to my attention to 10 years ago today, well, the day that I'm recording

this introduction, uh, we started the 10 Jack Miles podcast.

We didn't know what we were doing and we didn't really have a plan.

And I never in a million years would have thought that it would have continued as long as it

has and would have grown the way that it has probably about six million downloads

most of the countries um lots of people lots of friends uh races etc etc etc but what i wanted to do

for a 10 year anniversary was to try to find a way not to make it about me i didn't want to have a whole

bunch of people telling me how great

I was or the show was or anything like that. I thought, let's try and find a way to make it about you

because that's the best part about this show. As you know, this is not, you know, how I make a living

and I'm not doing this for the money. I'm doing it for the community and I'm doing it for the impact. And so what we did was we called some people and we were we had a big Zoom actually. It wasn't a call. And the people told us some things about friends that they've made on the show or through the show races they've done as a result of this show, you know, ways that they've changed the world around them or made the racing better that they can trace back to the show. And I wanted to make it about them and about what the show has given them

rather than about me and what I do. And I think it was a lot of fun. You'll learn some things about

the history. You'll learn some of the characters that have been around here for a long time.

And I had a really good time.

And it's three hours long.

So lots of things for you to be entertained by.

And hopefully we have another 10 years and we do a 20 year show.

As long as you guys keep listening and supporting, I'll keep making podcasts.

And in that regard, we do not have a Patreon name readout in the show.

It's not because I don't appreciate and love all of you that give back to the show and

even the ones that aspire to and don't, but it's just for time purposes.
