It's this magical idea that you could just like take a pill and like magically just not get pregnant and everything else in your body is the same.

Like that's a lie.

When we look at our menstrual cycles of vital side and go back to this point, then we can't look at it as separate.

So I always give these silly analogies.

And like so, you know, if I wanted to buy it, like, it would be a dumb idea.

But if I wanted to buy a car with no air conditioning, like that would be stupid.

But if I did, I could.

And the engine would still work.

And it would make no difference because it is a machine, right?

But like with our bodies, we've kind of been sold this idea that you can just shut down your ability to get pregnant with this magical little pill and like it has no other effects.

But if you just look at the side effect profile, then you have to ask yourself like if it really

didn't have anything to do with it, why would the primary effect be depression and the libido?

Like obviously it has all this. And like when you get into the weeds with some of the other effects,

like the increased risk of gallstones and, like, there's associations

and correlations with immune disorders and even a higher risk of, like, IBS if you're

susceptible to, like, crow. Like, it's just unreal. So then from that perspective, we shouldn't

be that surprise that there is this relationship between

the pill and how we relate to other people.

It's kind of messing with our natural pickers.

And that's terrifying.

Like, it's really terrifying.

Getting pregnant and giving birth are two of the most exciting things you can ever hope to experience in this life.
