When you search just the word postpartum, a lot of depression stuff comes up with it.

But I don't like that because to me, postpartum isn't just synonymous with mental health or depression.

There's a reason as well why we see the rates climbing, not just in moms but dads to paternal postpartum depression,

is because our view of postpartum itself is not

really there. They're really, besides the clinical definition of all six to eight weeks after

giving birth, there is no actual proper definition. To me, postpartum is interdisciplinary. It's cross

industry. It's cross-industry,

it's mother-centered family focus.

I realize the words

kind of mean the same thing

when we say centered and focus.

At the end of the day,

we know the mom and the child diet

is hand in hand.

You can't separate that.

And that's the nature

of how our babies work as well.

They just need mom.

That's just the way it is.
