To start the podcast today, Chris and I talk about how he’s made his way to where he is now. When he was young, he had a passion for sports, baseball and wrestling specifically, but also had a passion for broadcasting. He took all the classes for communication studies and decided to pursue broadcasting. He emphasizes that he didn’t want to hate what he does, so he worked hard to make connections and start his career!

We discuss how life can lead you down a path you never expect. For example, I thought I was going to play professional baseball for much longer than I did, but because I didn’t get the opportunity, I’m here! Chris reflects of something The Rock told him, and that was that sometimes the best things in life are the things that don’t happen.

Chris gives his advice about approaching his interviews and life in general. He says to always swing for the fences, meaning that one shouldn’t be afraid to be bold, even if it may not work the way you’d like. Chris talks about how he just started posting content to make the interviews more accessible, but when he started getting more views he became more intentional with his content creation.
