Coming up on the exam room, I got Alan P show when I was 23 years old.

So moved to San Diego, California, was eating a bunch of carne asada burritos every day

all the time, all the California burritos.

And then my hair started to fall out, literally that's what it was.

And it got bad fast though, his was much much much worse than mine.

Did you all ever think about just throwing up your hands and saying, I'm just going to

go bald here?

I was like, let me just shave it all off.

However, Jordan, he was my accountability partner through it all.

He was like, we're not giving up.

We're not going to just, you know, let your hair fall out because he had reverse alopecia.

So he was like, let me lead you down the path and show you how to do it.

So he pointed me toward a plant-based lifestyle, a plant-based diet.

And I was like, you got to be crazy if you think I'm about to give a fried chicken and burgers

and so forth and all the soul food.

Because that's just what I grew up eating, so I was like, this is what I know, you think

I'm going to switch my diet to see if some miracle is going to work for hair.

But it worked for himself, like, let's give it a try, let's see.
