Hey friends, it is me Jamie and I am back in a podcasting world.

Here's my first show coming back after I took a long break to deal with, live with, walk through some

super hard things within my family and so the last time I was on this show was

in February I know that you've heard some past shows.

We've had guest co-host.

They played some of my speaking events and I just want to say a couple of things.

Number one, I'm really happy to be back here with you guys.

I've been super nervous about coming back into this online space where I've worked for the last

ten years with this podcast.

Having some hard things about my life put on the internet for everyone to see was really difficult. And so coming back to the internet feels scary.

But I will say this is I have never at all in this whole

time been scared of coming back here to the happy hour. In fact I was just telling a friend the

other day that the internet feels scary to me. I just feel a little tender a little vulnerable

like I think you could understand but what has never felt tender or vulnerable or

scary has been you guys and so you guys are the best listeners in the world. I say that all the time and the happy hour has been such a gift to me over these 10 years.

In fact, this month of May is 10 years since the Happy Hour started.

And I know we played a couple of weeks ago

my very first episode.
