Good morning, everyone. It's Dr. Nigro again with our next episode of Psychology Unplugged.

And I think this is maybe the second episode that I haven't done at our Kitchen Island.

I'm actually at my office in beautiful downtown Duxbury.

Behind my back is the ocean,

and it is incredibly hot here today,

but not nearly as hot as it gets back home in Chicago with the humidity.

So much appreciation, as always,

to all of you guys who follow us and another fun

week of talking, interacting with people. And it's been really enlightening for me to realize

how similar we are, that the shared experience of mental health, mental wellness, and mental

illness is a pervasive phenomenon across humanity, you know, and I think, you know, we talk about,

or I've talked about, you know, we're designed to do one of

two things, um, survive and, and to procreate, but I, I would, I would add on to that, uh, notion of

survival, not just from a physiological standpoint of needing, you know, food,

water, air, and shelter, but also in the age that we live in, the concept of psychological

survival. And I've had the privilege of working with people across a wide spectrum of ages and disorders and

pathologies. And I commend people who get up every day and put it on the altar and say,

you know, God just give me the grace for today.

So I hope this program continues to be a source of inspiration and education. And I kind of go from,

you know, a variety of topics back and forth.

But today's what I wanted to focus on, and I don't know why.

I don't think it watched something or read something.
