Hello, hello, welcome back. You guys, we are literally right around the corner from Thanksgiving.

So today we are going to talk about how to navigate or how I navigate Thanksgiving and the holidays in general.

So I think the biggest thing to start with here is something that I used to do that I no longer do and I

haven't done in years. I used to be one of these people that when around Halloween, when Halloween

would come, I would get just very comfortable and I'm like, you know what? I want to enjoy the

holidays and I'm not going to attract food and I'm just going to enjoy and eat what I want when I

want and like go out and do all the things and you know and even with my training I just got

very complacent and I would go to the gym still but it was checking the box I wasn't really

even like intentional with the training that I was doing. And I've even done that

here recently. I had just gotten kind of lazy with it, like I was going and showing up for

myself, but I wasn't making the most of the time and being intentional. So anyhow, with the

holidays, that's what I used to do. And so it was very easy for me from October

till January, basically, to put on, I don't know, three to five pounds. Um, I would say the majority of it

fat, not just like food volume and water, like actually gain, you know, three, four pounds.

Enough that I was uncomfortable. Um, And I also just didn't feel good because I knew I was being lazy about things.

I just, I wasn't being, I don't know, I hate to use the word lazy, but I guess it was, I was just, I felt like that the only way to enjoy the holidays was to just, you know, say to hell with it all and just eat everything, which is insane.

Because you can enjoy the holidays without just sacrificing, you know, all your hard work that you've put in and

just without caring in general. So for me, myself, I am always at maintenance during the

holidays. If you're someone who is dieting or doing the shred right now, you can still follow

these same like principles and be able to, you know, still see

amazing results and enjoy your Thanksgiving without feeling guilty or without just, you know,

going completely off the rails. So the first rule I would say is don't look at this time of year
