Tideer Shafi is a Palestinian activist and strategist born and based in Palestine Israel.

She is a co-founder of Azwak, Palestinian Feminist Queer Center for Sexual and Gender

Freedoms, and has spent the last

decade of her life passionately advocating for the intersectionality of the

struggle of Palestinian queer women, finding multiple forms of oppression as

Palestinians in the context of Israel's system of apartheid

military occupation and settler colonialism. As women in a militaristic and imperialistic

mal-dominant society and as queers in the context of pink washing and homophobia.

In doing so, she contributed together and more committed and engaged global feminists and

queers to rally around Palestine.

Her interviews and articles appear in various media outlets

and academic papers, Arab, and international.
