Well, we are posted up outside, not in the US bank parking lot, but in the Safeway

parking lot.

And this is the US bank to our left.

This was the bank robbery that my son and I did together in, I believe it was June 25,

2011.

At the time we'd been living in the Subaru, I'm still working at Boeing and on occasion

we would scrape up enough money to not only buy some dope, some heroin, but also get

a motel room.

This is where we left you last week.

Andy's motel in Edmunds, a city about 25 minutes north of Seattle.

It's not exactly a four star kind of place.

Various Yelp reviews from that time paint a picture of streaking toilets, soiled carpets,

and bedbug infestations.

One review reads simply horrible, traumatizing, don't ever go there.

Potonian Conor were really out of options, so they did go there.

And by this point in the spring of 2010, the relationship had metastasized into a mess

of addiction and desperation and codependence.

Two lives so incredibly damaged that they decided, why not?

Let's rob a bank.

We were completely out of money, we were about to be out of dope, and we had, well let's

just say the little light that comes on your gas thing, telling you you're going to run

out of gas soon has been on for quite some time.
