I remember after we got divorced, Amber used to call me Disney Land Dad.

That's what she called me.

She just said, you let them get away with everything and every time they're with you, it's

all fun, fun, fun.

You know, because obviously they looked with her and then when they would come and spend

weekends with me, it was always about going out and having fun.

Yeah, Disney Land Dad.

I'll never forget that.

At the end of our last episode, we left Tony at the far side of a crossroads.

Unable to get the oxy-contin, he needed to function.

Tony suddenly felt like he was out of options for feeding his habit.

What he didn't know yet was that there actually was an option, heroin.

Basically, the same drug, but way cheaper and available on the street, if you knew where

to look.

So many Americans who got and hooked on oxy made the switch to heroin.

That decision to switch by itself makes it twisted kind of sense.

But what I really wanted to understand is how Tony went from being Disney Land Dad to

this dad.

The one Connor Hathaway remembers well.

I knew he was home from work, but out of the net I was just kind of doing my own thing

and then he came in the room, you know, because even when I was up to something.
