In this episode, how to honor and overcome what drives you genetically.

So we all know the debate between nature and nurture.

I grew up with a focus on nurture.

You know, we become what we want.

We blaze our own path.

We make our own reality, very American.

And this seemed to work until later in life when,

with some help from others, I was shown some sabotaging patterns in my life.

A graph was made of my life and especially regarding my work and it

showed me starting things and building them and succeeding and then they all came to an

end, all of them. There's always some relevant reason it seemed but the only common

denominator was me and it just didn't make any sense. I was pretty dumbfounded.

I finally got led to looking at some genetic predispositions which I've never liked that idea because I don't want some excuse to fail and guess what I don't have one now but now I'm aware of some of the issues that I have and I can now address

them and advocate for them and now succeed where I habitually sabotage things.

So there's a study about the reality of genetics that just

blows my mind. I put it in my book. I want to share it with you so you can become

aware of yourself hopefully and stop the negative patterns.
