Summary

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have an amazing guest, Chester Santos who shares some mind games that will help you sharpen your memory, and techniques that unlock the power of your mind!

Chester Santos (U.S. Memory Champion) Int’l Man of Memory, an author, International Speaker, Executive Coach, Corporate Trainer, and the world’s leading memory skills expert. Through his entertaining and educational television appearances, professional seminars, and best-selling books, Chester has helped millions of people around the world to realize the benefits of improved memory and a sharper mind. He is also a personal memory and mind coach to some notable celebrities, politicians, professional athletes, and high-powered executives.

CNN, ABC, PBS, NBC, CBS, and the Science Channel have all featured Chester and his memory building tips. He has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, The Washington Post, and most recently, TIME Magazine featured his advice for remembering numbers in a December 2018 Special Edition titled, “The Science of Memory”.

Chester is also a best-selling author. His first book, "Instant Memory Training for Success", became a bestseller in WHSmith stores across the UK. The second book, “Mastering Memory: Techniques to Turn Your Brain from a Sieve to a Sponge", was published by leading nonfiction publisher Sterling Publishing (Sterling) in 2018. It has been acquired by 246 public libraries worldwide and is featured in the Psychology section of Barnes & Noble stores across the USA.

Chester was growing up having a good memory but he still finds ways to improve it. He spent time doing a lot of research and experiments with many different techniques until he found the best techniques that work for him. To him, it’s important to improve your memory despite living in a high technology era where Mr. Google exists. Leave the mindset that you can Google anything and you don’t need to sharpen your mind. The average person out there is losing their ability to remember or can’t remember anything at all. So being a champion in memory will set yourself apart from other professionals and gives you very impressive feedback.

There are so many applications and stuff that can benefit you in so many ways. Remembering people’s names and things about them helps you build a better business, strong personal relationships, and rapport. Try to apply visualization, involve additional senses as you can, and activates more areas in your mind. Try to do a daily or weekly memory routine consistently - it’s the key.

Memory is a fundamental part of learning. The more knowledge you have, the more and formed decisions you can make. Your knowledge bank helps you to make more and form better decisions!
