for many years. Even, I would say a century and a half, Great Britain was one of, if not the leader in hunting around the world.

They had a culture of fine firearms and adventurous sportsman that was paralleled nowhere else. It led to passionate sportsman around the globe from America, where we got our roots from Great Britain to Australia,

New Zealand, South Africa and spreading into the rest of Africa wherever Englishmen went,

they introduced a passion for the lifestyle of hunting.

And in many ways, good conservation as well, you know, whether you agree with it or not, the way that certain areas of England

have optimized the habitat and so forth for Grouse has been spectacularly effective, and it appears that we're in danger of losing that.

We're here today to talk with one of our favorite Englishmen, of course, Rob Gearing of Spartan precision equipment, but we're not talking about shooting systems this time.

We're talking about conservation.

Both the animals that we love and hunt that sustain us and our families and fuel our passion for the outdoors

and conservation of a lifestyle of freedom and firearms

ownership and rights as individual hunters.

And that's something the Great Britain is on a very slippery slope

on right now.

Rob, thank you for joining us first and thank you for being willing to

tackle this very difficult subject. Well I'm delighted to be here Joseph, it's

quite a sad subject actually and it's quite alarming at the speed and the pace that things are changing in the UK and I don't pretend to be an expert on this

I'm sure there be open criticism I'd be the first

person to stick my hand up and say I've got it wrong but I think we'd be foolish

if we didn't acknowledge there's a genuine concern with what's going on in the UK at the moment and how

socialist governments are trying to stem what we've... what's part of my life the way I've grown up.

You know this isn't a sport for me, it's a passion, it's a way of life.

And I feel now that those lifestyles are being challenged. I could blame a lot of things for that but I
