The world is on the precipice of World War III.

There's been an assassination attempt against a Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump.

There has been murder, rumors, scandals, an invasion at the southern border, inflation.

These are our tumultuous times in our typically stable country and everyone.

Everyone is nervous. There is no doubt a lot

is at stake in this election cycle, perhaps more than ever. The fear is palpable. But good citizens

don't live by fear. They live by truth. There will be plenty of opportunities to wax poetic about

the politics of it all.

Who's good and who's bad and how you should vote.

But I want to take just a moment together to slow down our breathing,

calm down our spirits, and reset our perspective. Now is not the time for fearful citizens, but for courageous citizens.

Now is not the time for fear, but for the

defenders of peace to step up and lead. Whenever I feel fearful about what's happening in culture

and politics, I head straight to the word of God, for my comfort and for my advice.
