Our caller this week has a question that brings a whole new meaning to the idea of a dinner emergency.

As much as you can provide I'd like to think that everybody who calls in kind of has like the can you help me tone but did I detect a particular note of urgency

and a sort of like a particularly deep seated level of need on your part?

Yes, yes, I am way out of my league with my challenge.

Uh-oh.

Unfortunately or fortunately I kind of invited almost 30 people to stay with me for a week and everyone said yes which is really lovely and so exciting and so thrilling and I'm just totally out of my league in terms of how we're going to make sure everyone's fed.

Yeah, yeah, so it's my husband's 15 year college reunion.

And we have friends sort of all spread across the country and we all have like toddlers and we have all adopted pandemic puppies and we all have these jobs that we feel very devoted to and like the idea of traveling for a two day. voted to

day get together to just sort of high five one another and run off

didn't really speak to any of us.

So last August, I sort of us. So last August I sort of thought why not invite folks? We could have them up to our

little family house. We had a couple extra bedrooms. I thought maybe one or two of the couples would make that commitment.

But lo and behold, everybody was sort of thrilled at the prospect. And you know how these things happen,
