Have you ever had a perfect bite out in the world? That try as you might,

you just can't seem to recreate in your own kitchen.

Well, this week's caller Jenny has had a particular craving for

going on a decade.

We're in a pickle, umatively, I guess, and also really in that I am a great pickle lover.

And as a young adult, I was on a work trip in Ann Arbor, Michigan and I had a half-sower pickle from Zingerman's

Delhi and it's the only time I've ever been to Ann Arbor, I haven't been back, but I haven't stopped

dreaming about that pickle.

I think it's now been like 10 or 11 years.

And so I've tried to chase the experience by buying half sour pickles from local delis from the grocery store I've tried to make my own and I have never been able to

recreate the experience of like the sort of half sweet half sour crunch, fresh pickle experience from Zingerman's.
