I thought I'd do a special two-part compilation show of the best of the people that we've lost since I interviewed them throughout the last 10 years.

I know you're going to love these episodes because these were some of my favorites of all time. And I truly, truly am blown away by the impact that all these people have had on me.

Alright, everybody. I'm very excited about the show today. It's going to be really exciting about just everything that these people have to say that are no longer with us, but have left an indelible mark on my life and all of yours and the world.

I can't think of a better way to start this out than with a guy who started his career working on the Joey Bishop show, the Dick Van Dyke show, the Danny Thomas show and the Lucy show.

He went on to adapt Neil Simon's play the odd couple for television. Then went on to work on his own and with others creating happy days, LeVernin Shirley and Morgan Mindy.

He went on to either write direct producer do all three and many, many great films, including the Flamingo kid that beaches, pretty woman, the princess diaries.

Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve. Ladies and gentlemen, I was fortunate enough to sit down with this man in my office and I'll never forget it because not only was he incredibly inspirational, but I'm humbled to know that it was the last interview that he ever gave.

A man that inspired millions, Gary Marshall.

Your wife went to 18 premieres of your movies.

Yeah, and two extras I did where I produced look at that 20. So 20 movies she went to and sad next to you.

She learned how to lie to other people for the business, but she's not going to lie to you. Tell us the movie that you made out of those 20 where she turned you afterwards alone and she said, not good.

She sometimes say not good sections, but she always learn see, you gotta be honest with your mate and it helps if you try, you know,

okay, sexual wow, wow, wow, and religion, but it's what bugs you and my mother, I love my mother, she gave me my son to a human.

She didn't really respond well to presence and never complimented, you know, I gave her a present.

Flowers, they'll die in two moments who cares for her. What is, why'd you spend your money on this? Oh, okay, that wasn't so good.

So I told my wife, I'd like first to say something nice, then you say, what was that scene over there, but I don't think in 20 times she said that was garbage.

There was one close that I didn't move before the exit to Eden that really wasn't one of my hits, but she said that was a little hard, but if that's what you want to try, try it.
