Over the close to 10 years of hosting this podcast, I’ve had the incredible honor of interviewing some truly amazing and extraordinary people, many of whom are unfortunately no longer with us. These individuals were some of the most brilliant comedians, managers, writers, and directors I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting, but even more importantly, they were my friends. Part 2 of this special 2-part episode is a collection of some great stories, advice, and insight these men all shared on Industry Standard over the years. I hope that by listening to these extraordinary individuals you can find inspiration in their words the way I did, and use that inspiration into taking your own career to the next level.

1:34.0	I can't think of a more beautiful way to start this episode with a guy who was a big part of my
1:43.7	life. I represented him. I produced television shows with him. I pitched with him. I hung out
1:51.7	with him and he even made it a point when my mom wasn't down to take her to his favorite spot
2:03.1	at the Beverly Hills Hotel and have lunch with her. I'll never forget that day.
2:10.3	And this guy has always impacted me because he always let me know what the possibilities were.
2:18.7	He came from a family with so many children. I don't think you can count them on both hands.
2:27.6	He was a child of alcoholic parents. He struggled with many different vices
2:35.1	but somehow he always prevailed with the funny.
2:39.8	He was a guy who won three humanitists awards for a show he created.
2:47.6	Hosted a game show and then seemed like he was exiled from Hollywood for over a decade.
