In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about the ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). COPD is a condition triggered by chronic smoking or pollution that causes an inflamed irritated lung which develops scar tissue and obstructs the lungs capacity to receive oxygen and eliminates oxygen.

COPD Symptoms

• Coughing

• Mucus

• Shortness of Breath

• Chronic Adrenals

It is highly recommended to do the combination of the healthy ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. Reducing carbs will reduce the inflammation and oxidative damage in the body.

1. Intermittent Fasting is going to drop the inflammation + help clean up scar tissue

2. Vitamin D (High) and Vitamin K2

3. Hyperbaric

4. Pneumatrophin PMG (Standard Process)

0:48.0

COPD chronic obstructive pulmonary disease do keto and immune fasting, what's my opinion, what you think would help them.

0:56.0

First of all, this usually is triggered by chronic smoking or a lot of pollution,

1:01.0

and it just basically creates an inflamed

1:03.4

irritated lung, which then develop scar tissue

1:07.1

and obstructs the lung's capacity

1:10.0

to receive oxygen and eliminate CO2.

1:15.8

We have coughing, mucous, shortness of breath.

1:18.7

Those are some of the symptoms.

1:20.3

But yes, I highly recommend doing a combination of keto and amino fasting, especially in amino fasting.

1:27.7

Of course, if you reduce your carbs on a healthy keto plan, you're going to reduce your

1:31.9

inflammation right there, and you're going to reduce your inflammation right there and you're going to reduce

1:34.6

oxidative damage. But interment of fasting is going to drop the inflammation. That's the big thing right there.

1:40.4

And it also if you do it correctly and do it long enough, you're going to help clean

1:45.9

up some of this damage proteins, the scar tissue. Intimate fasting is good for scar tissue not just in your long but in the joints, in the

1:56.6

liver as cirrhosis. It's a great reparative action. The other thing that I would recommend is large amounts of Vitamin D, but

2:06.4

Vitamin D in general handles many problems related to the lung, respiratory stuff, asthma, even allergies.

2:16.7

So vitamin D is very, very important for the immune system and it can act like an adrenal

2:21.3

hormone.
