This week on the perfect scam.

Once they know the victim's done, they can't get any more money,

they just disappear.

And by disappear, I mean, they'll just literally change their company name, create a new website,

they'll stop using the phone number that they're using with that victim,

they'll change email addresses, they just kind of vanish,

and it can be very difficult to actually figure out and locate where these fraudsters are.

Like a ghost just gone. Exactly.

Imagine growing up the child of a man who runs a criminal boil room operation, always around, easy money, cruel

thieves, and fast living. It should be no surprise that when Mary Marr is old enough, she can't resist the lure of a life of crime.

But eventually Mary Mar runs into a dogged investigator who decides dollars from hell should never be made.
