Hello everyone, Felicitations and this is me Felicia Day and this is my first

issue episode of my interviews. I think I mentioned in my last Felicitations that I'm

breaking up the podcast into certain sections of

entertainment so that they're all going to go in the same feed but I'll have my Felicitations

by myself. I will have the Geeks book club uploaded once a month and once a month I will

interview someone really really interesting and I'm very excited to have my first interview

with an author who is incredible. She's also really cool on Twitter. She has great hair

and her camera is almost as good as mine and I'm a little almost jealous of that. No.

I'm very excited. Her name is Catherine M. Valente. How are you?

I'm good. I'm good because I'm here. Yay. Do you people call you Cat or your Catherine?

Yes. Everyone calls me Cat. I barely respond to Catherine. I know I was about I was going to

say Cat but I was like I don't know if I know you well enough to say Cat. That's really

presumptive. I should have asked this before we went on the air but I nailed it.

Absolutely. Call me Cat. So we followed each other on Twitter for many years and I started

following you because I loved the girl who circumnavigated the Fairyland and a ship of her.

I loved this book so much and I read other pamphlets that I believe.

It's okay. Nobody can't. I regret so deeply having named the book that because

like we were talking about long titles before we started recording and the other one is like

made me hate. Don't name your book after a word that nobody can pronounce or knows what it means.

And your new book is called Osmo, the Osmo Unknown and the Eight Penny Woods.

So you went with a long title again. Yeah. You know, it actually started out as a short title
