Carl Jung described alchemy as the dream from which science was born.

The dream of alchemy of turning base metals into gold, if it was only that, then the philosopher's stone would be a broken idea.

Right. But it's not only that. It's the conference of eternal life, spiritual peace, good health.

And so the philosopher's stone are going after that. It's the

transcendence or the evolutionary process itself. The scientific method is an excellent system,

but it's also being corrupted like everything else. It sort of lost this purity. Yeah, the aim is

the pursuit of truth. And so obviously it's been corrupted in Fiat world where we have insane things like don't question the science.

And I think that's being a theme throughout this entire book, that there's no way that any of this actually works without us as individuals already doing the self-work.

I mean, when I read this, I'm like, are you fucking kidding me? Like, how could this

be written? Literally all opposites, right? It was base, cheap, immature and volatile, but also

perfect, precious, ancient, solid, visible to all yet mysterious, costly, dark, hidden, and

evident, having one name and many names. What else could possibly fit that

description? And somehow, we live in the era when this is becoming evident.
