Intermittent Fasting Basics: https://www.messenger.com/t/drericberg
Dr. Berg talks about intermittent fasting and your adrenal glands. If you have the adrenal body type, or high cortisol or adrenal fatigue, then doing intermittent fasting will help you. Intermittent fasting reduces inflammation instantly lowering the need for cortisol. The main function of cortisol in relation to blood sugars is to prevent hypoglycemia (low blood sugars) - this is normal. However, what happens is if a person goes into intermittent fasting with a pre-existing low blood sugar problem, they might have some rough times in the beginning as they adapt, however, this can be resolved if they do intermittent fasting gradually, and add B-vitamins, Vitamin C, and Potassium.
