podcast about art and art history with someone who has no background in

I renumbered the episode so you can see exactly where we are in the series and this is

going to be the longest episode of the series by far and for this one I am swinging for the fences because

why the hell not? The story has just been so insane and if you spent this

amount of time with it you deserve my best shot at a crescendo of weirdness and

off-the-wall shenanigans and to go outright. And there are going to be points in this episode that get incredibly depressing and you're

going to look down at the timer and be like, fuck, 45 more minutes of this?

Hang tight.

So let's buckle up and let's get right into it.

When we last left Jackson, he finally snapped at the constant direction of Hans Nemuth during the final day of shooting for their short film.

And when the pretext and foundation of your sobrieties, the tranquilizer,

candyman, Dr. Heller, and Dianetics therapy with Roger Fucking Wilcox,

if you fall off the wagon, you're going to fall hard if both of those things disappear,

which of course they both did.

Dr Heller, the candy man, he died earlier that year in a single car crash on Friday, April 20th.

He was alone driving westward on the Montauk Highway about a mile east of Bridgehampton near the town line, quote, early in the morning, the day prior on Thursday, and he hit a tree.

After the accident, an ambulance happened to drive by and Dr. Heller appeared to be fine and he turned down that ambulance which just happened to be carrying Mrs. Clifford Windsor of Montauk who was a patient of Dr. Heller's.

Apparently there was no doctor patient
