his process in coming up with story, the influences on his own incredible artwork,

his experience on the X-Men, how he got the X-Men job in the first place,

his discipline, how many hours he puts into a page.

Hey everybody and welcome to another episode of Robeservations. I am your host Rob Leifeld. I've been making the comic books for 40 years,

four decades. I started in the 80s, then all through the 90s, the 2000s, and here we are in the

2020s. Five decades, I have been watching this as a professional. And when you go back further as a fan in the

70s, you get 50 years of consuming comic books, which I love comic book superheroes Marvel comics,

DC Comics. I've talked about Atlas Comics, very kind of fly-by-night, rarer companies that you

don't always hear of, that I was pulling off the spinner axe when I was a kid.

Later on, independent comics were introduced Pacific Comics, First Comics, Comico.

I just consumed all of them in the pursuit of one day making them, and I have.

And I thank you so much for not only buying my comic book work,

but for listening to this show.

We chart on this show the progress of the comic book industry

since I was a kid in 1974,

watching wide-eyed, couldn't believe what was going on,
