Last week, we did a ministry leader health check. We asked ourselves five specific questions,

how to come back from conflict, rejection, or hurt. A lot of us in this space. I'm in if you're in,

so let's get into it. So how do you as a leader come back from a place of wounding? Maybe an issue from the past,

something that's happened to you, especially inside the church by another leader, maybe.

Conflict is real, rejection is real, and hurt is real. And we as believers hurt each other at times.

And ministry leaders are not immune. In fact,

we've been through a lot, especially in the past couple of years. It's been rough. I posted on

social media not long ago about why we as female leaders often get held back. Now, let's stay

with me for a minute, because this might seem like a little

bit of a side road, but it's definitely not. It was in response to a larger online discussion about

if women should preach, which is definitely not the show we're talking about today. And that day,

I didn't get into that discussion either, but I did talk about leadership in general and using our

gifts. And I just said, leadership in general and using our gifts.

And I just said, as an aside to this, hey, know that sometimes you might be the most qualified for a ministry position or the best speaker. And you might not be given the opportunity

simply because someone is maybe threatened by you or they have something
