As a reminder, I'm drawing from a book I wrote in 2017 called Five Word Prayers,

a little 40-day devotional book.

It has literally 40 days of five-word prayers with short devotionals, not a holiday book,

but I thought it would be great for the holidays.

I've picked four of them out to read to you this month. Ones I feel are especially appropriate for what we need right now. Today is a precious

one that I especially love. It is, I love you, Jesus, help. And these verses that it draws upon

from Psalm 121, 1 through 2, I lift up my eyes to the mountains.

Where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
