There is a big event going on in Fisher's that could impact how the rest of the state lives.

So we've touched on this before that Fisher's is putting forward an idea of capping the amount of rental properties in a neighborhood.

And this has gone from an idea to an

actual proposed policy. And it could all go down Monday night at the Fisher's City Council meeting.

So I thought, let's explore what's going on because if this moves forward in Fisher's, other

municipalities are likely to follow suit. So let's bring in an expert, somebody who knows the landscape when it comes to buying and selling homes in Central Indiana. Chris Watts, he is the vice president of Public Affairs for the Indiana Association of Realtors joins us. Now, Chris, hello.

Hey, Rob. Thanks for having me on today. So realtors have spoken up. I've seen several articles written that you guys are

getting the word out to the community and Fisher saying, hey, this could have a serious

consequences to the ability to sell your home in Fisher's. Tell us a little bit about the concerns

that the Indian Association of Realtors has about this Fisher's proposal. Well, Rob, first, I want to say thanks for,

you know, letting me walk a few blocks down Market Street to be here to show Mayor Fadness and others

that were not a national special interest group. We actually represent working realtors and homeowners.

Fadness is the mayor of Fisher, Scott Fadness, and his pushback was kind of, well,

we're not going to let a national group boss us around.

We're going to do what we want to do in Fischer's.

And you guys have said, no, we're local, right?

Hey, we're right here, right down Market Street off the circle.

So we've got plenty of members up in in Hamilton County. One of our strongest housing markets is I'm

sure you can, you know, you can tell. So we're keeping a close eye on this. And what really
