Kristen Fewel, author of The Gift of Awakening and founder of Full Circle Yoga & Healing Arts, reached out to say that she was inspired by some of the talks on the podcast to transition her yoga center away from the conventional way of doing business to a less extractive rental model so J invited her on to have a conversation about what she is doing and how it is working out. 0:18.0	If you haven't guessed already, my name is Jay Brown. I want to welcome you, especially if you're new,
0:25.3	and just say thanks off the bat for choosing to listen. Are you okay? Is everybody okay? Because
0:36.0	it seemed like a rough week. Even if you weren't directly affected by some of the things that are happening, it just felt like the mood was horrible, terrible mood this week. And I saw it expressed in all kinds of ways,
0:56.9	even myself, like, getting into arguments and then just, I don't know, I don't know, I hope
1:08.0	you're doing okay listening to this.
1:19.8	And another thing that's sort of, I guess, fitting for the way the week was,
1:25.7	those of you who tuned in last week, you know, I was like bubbling over with this excitement about the new studio, right?
1:28.5	And I mentioned this social media post,
1:33.0	and I talked about the hashtag Nata Yoga Center.
1:37.5	Well, turns out that that social media post
1:42.8	that was sort of celebrating my exuberance and excitement over the
1:48.1	possibilities of having a new space to work out of, that also, I don't know, it created a new
1:56.4	situation that I did not foresee. Because those who've been listening also know that I've been teaching at
2:04.6	several local centers. And I didn't have a conversation with the owners of these yoga centers
2:13.8	about me getting this studio space. Because as i mentioned last week i haven't been
2:20.6	thinking about it as a yoga center it's not like a storefront or like retail business i think of it
2:27.4	more of almost like it's an office and a studio recording studio as well as now live streaming.
2:35.6	I've been live streaming classes all week from here.
2:39.0	And did my teachers call today?
2:42.0	So much fun.
