Hello, Lakers Nation. Welcome in to the Lakers Nation.com podcast. My name's Trevor Lane and the Lakers now down 01 in their first round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. A game one that, man, was not fun at all, not what Lakers fans were expecting.

The Lakers essentially through quarters two through four look basically hapless out there on the court.

We're going to talk today about what the Lakers need to do.

What do they need to fix now going into game two?

I'm joined by Ron Gutterman from Lakers Nation.

Ron, is it safe to say that game two is a must win for the Lakers?

Yeah, I mean, you definitely don't want to drop two at home, especially with the way the Lakers have been on the road this year.

You know, if they were a really solid road team, I might say, you know, it's still a must win, but you could survive it.

I'm not sure that this Lakers team could survive going down O2 at home.

A little bit of a surprise that they've got actually two days off here.

So they're going to get into practice tomorrow.

Not normal when you've got two games in a row in the same location.

That usually there's one day off between.

And then if there's going to be two days off, that's for travel.

So if they were going to travel to Minnesota, say there'd be two days off in that scenario.

So not common that you see this, two days between games.

Does that benefit the Lakers, you think?

This gives them the ability to get a practice in?

Yeah, I think extra time and extra rest always benefits the team that just got punched in the mouth.

I think the winning team, they're eager to get back out there because they have something.

They found something that worked immediately, and they want to go do it again before the

Lakers can figure out what to do next.
